What do i do?????????

Two days ago one of the eggs in the incubator pipped five days overdue, it still hasn't zipped 2 days later. I tried assisting it but I've never ever assisted before and it started bleeding. I've just left it in the incubator, its still cheeping. What do I do? Can anyone help?

I've taken the top off the egg off and I think its dried up the yolk and blood now. Its just trying to get out now.
Is it likely that when they come late they will have problems.

Can you post a picture? There could be something wrong, or is needed more time to hatch. Hopefully it comes out healthy. Is it zipping at all?

It hadn't zipped 2 days after it had pipped, i found a thread on how to assist a chick, and I've assisted it. But it is still struggling to get out.
Sorry its not very clear.

Does it lift its head at all? In the future when assisting , only remove a little of the hard part of the shell and leave the white membrane around the chick. The white membrane allows them to absorb yolk if needed and use their instincts to come out. Have you touched the chick? It might actually be stuck to the egg if the membrane dried out

No it doesn't. but its trying to. Ok my bad.
I think it has, its actually a bit shrink wrapped.

Can you wet a warm paper towel and rub gently around , I’m thinking the membrane is very dry at this point
