What do I do??

Hey guys n gals, thank you all for the birthday messages. In a bit of a dilemma, found a duck egg on our daily walk no nest. Parents live nearby, put egg in the incubator. Egg developed could see their little heartbeat. Saturday 1st makes 7 days. I can see veins but no longer the embryo. No blood ring but at the bottom some dark stuff. Duck breed is Mallard.
