what do I do?

my family had 2 lovely drakes but one was taken by the bird fly(what I believe). Our HOA doesn't allow ducks here and we only have one duck left, it's been a year, should I get more ducks?

If your HOA doesn't allow ducks, you're already taking a chance with one. Whether you choose to violate it by getting more is your decision.

We aren't going to advise you to break your contract or HOA bylaws.

You could work to try to get those changed though.
