What do I feed my chickens?

Grit is only needed if you do not free range your chickens alot or they do not have access to a dirt run.

Grit is what the chickens use to grind their food since chickens don't have teeth
Oyster shell or crushed egg shells free feed this makes for strong egg shells
layer feed is good I use a flock raiser because I free range just keep up their protein intake

Fresh water

clean their coop as need and put down new bedding

but they only need layer crumbles and nothing else, but add other stuff and its better.

they dont need grit for crumbles, but they do for pellets?
