What do I feed new mom and her 2 day old peep?

My Goldie just hatched her first egg. Layer feed is in the coop right now. Should I take the layer feed out and replace it with Chick Starter? Is it Okay for new mom to eat Chick Starter? I'm headed to the feed store today and would like to get the right thing for both of them. Thanks.

You can feed them both starter, or make things easier and go with a flock raiser/ all-in-one type feed. Momma can eat just about anything at this point.
