What do i feed SHOW BIRDS!!

True but theyre really packed with proteins so i guess it would be fed as a treat. So would feeding the tuna out of the can would that be fed only a couple times a week? Or do you think its safe to feed it reguarly say, once a day?

Right the fish pellets would be like a treat.
The tuna I would give like one a week... Fish is good for the bird but it will make the feathers oily...

No, most if not all of the Oil is out of the Fish meal..
Fish Meal is like Corn Meal in texture.

I think i might try what Resolution was saying, buy guppies and feed the guppies color enhancing flakes/pellets and feed those guppies to my birds, resolution said that those color enhancers could transfer into the chicken. I was also wondering if feeding color enhancing fish pellets to chickens, i wonder if that would work? Any know of anyone who has done that? Or does anyone think that could work?

That's a good question. I would feel safer to raise guppies. Fewer nematodes and hard bones to factor into the equation. You can also control what you feed the guppies. So for example, if you decided to feed a fighting fish colour spectrum enhancer food to the guppies you would be able to tranfer some of that pigment enhancement along with the guppy but with no sharp bones of a cold water fish to deal with....Guppies only cost about twenty five cents a piece and they really do breed and give birth to live fry every other week or so.

I wonder how best to go about dispatching the guppies.

I like the idea of it, because I'm trying to get my chicken program into compliance for AWA certification and they don't allow the use of fish meal, which has been part of my chickens' feed. But, I would surely need to explain my method of dispatching the guppies.
