I had a bunch of different chicken breeds hatching in my incubator. I tried to keep on top of what was hatching from what marked eggs, but I woke up in the morning to 9 new chicks that hated over night!
I’m aware some are not purebreds so it might be hard to tell, but hoping with process of elimination will help.
These 4 chicks have me stumped.
I was sold them being told
Only one egg was a Creasted Legbar
Sapphire’s
Sex Linked Chocolate Ameraucana’s

If you see a Legbar is it male or female?
Long with any Chocolate Ameraucana, male or female?
I’ve attracted two photos of the 4 chicks numbered.

Thank

They're only auto-sexing if they are pure. Were these eggs just a mixed batch put into the incubator, or did they come from mixed flocks?

We will need to see pics once they feather out to guess at breeds.

#2 doesn't look like a male CCL to me. None look like a female CCL.
#1 could be a male but also looks off.
Chocolate isn't autosexing and the only way its sex linked is a chocolate male over a non chocolate female. That produces chocolate females and non chocolate males.
Do any of them have a pea comb?

Thank might just have to wait to see.
the eggs came from a very reputable breeder.
I was told if the chocolate Ameraucana’s hatch out black they are and if chocolate they are girls.
