What do I have?

I hatched this chick from an egg labeled “silkie”. It has five toes, feathered legs etc, but it has a crown that is markedly “poofier” than the rest of the silkies. It also has a yellow beak and feet. The breeder doesn’t have any other five toed breeds. What do I have?

It could be a Sultan, but that wouldn’t make sense if the breeder doesn’t have any other five toed breeds. Could it be a cross? And is that a cat right next to your chicks?

My first thought was Sultan too with those puffy cheeks. Wierd.

I have no idea what’s wrong with that cat. Every time I have chicks she thinks they are her babies. Lol
