What do I use to raise my coop off the ground?

You have several options when raising a coop. Concrete block is one as mentioned. I think the safest route is using treated 4" x 4" posts. The post route would be more time consuming and require extra building supplies. The concrete block method would be faster and require very little additional materials. Using the hydraulic jack method would be fast in raising the coop one end at a time and putting concrete blocks under each end.
 
When I did have a raised coop, I used 4 thick pallets side by side (2 high) and covered that with plywood :idunno

Now I have a barn. It probably would have rotted after long periods of wetness, but it was fine after a year :lol: That's how long it took us to get kicked out of town - so we moved to accommodate our lifestyle :)
