Yeah, I live in Amish country and I think the tradition of butchering (and being cheap, forgive me) is so common here -- that's why it's only $1.50.
My previous custom butcher only butchered on Tuesdays, so people would just make an "appointment" with him and he butchered all day -- poultry only. He would take 1 bird or 100 , it didn't matter to him since he would line up a full day for himself. He was very good. There are others who may not be as good. We're sorry he's moving.
