What do other moms want for mother's day?

kidding aside, I am in agreement,if you get me flowers they must be plantable.

Well I know I won't get anything other than some Happy Mother's Day well wishes,but if someone were to actually buy me something I would love a wheelbarrel and a few yards of composted soil. In the least I hope it is a sunny day,neither of my kids sick,and I hope my own mom is no longer sick(we gave her a nsaty bug last week).

I may treat myself to a forbidden food,or atleast something close to it.

I Don't want or need anything bought. I want to sleep in a bit. Go at my own pace doing whatever I want. Probably yard work and hanging out with my chickens and family. Not fixing any meals. I think most of all,,,I DONT want to hear a "MOM...........Jesse is doing......". or a "she started it" or a "He called me a ...." I just want my kids to love one another for a full day!

that about sums it up for me. I have asked my girls to do anything they want ....just not around each other!! and food is all fend for yourself. I have made sure that the cupboards are stocked. Other than that I would like an apple tree to plant or a dairy goat?! But most of all just time spent with my family.

I already got mine too...picked them up last night...an adult pair of Seramas, a juvie pair and 5 chicks. And I got the ok today to order the 3 d'Uccle colors I don't have yet, from Ideal (brown/red, buff columbian and white) Have to wait for the Mottled d'Uccle eggs though

I agree, keep the silly cards and clean the kitchen. Just do dishes and clean up after yourselves all day. Worth more than anything else. Failing that, a rose bush, of course.
