Somewhere down in Texas
Hi y’all, i got 2 batches of chicks not to long ago, and I was supposed to get 2 roos, but now I suspect that I have 4. 1 is a Bielefelder, which is no problem to me and we will definitely be keeping him and the other is a BLRW. I would love to keep him any day, but the only problem is that I don’t have any BLRW pullets. Do y’all suggest I try to rehome him or keep him? I might be able to get 2-3 BLRW pullets, but I just don’t know where from. If it helps, I have around 32+ hens that will be with them (they are all 2-3 weeks). Thank you for any help! :)

Here’s Colonel Sanders (Cuckoo Maran)

It's a little early to say for certain the genders of your chicks but why can't you keep the wyandotte because you don't have wyandotte hens?
I could, I guess that’s not my main reason. My main reason is probably, would 4 roosters be to many for 30-32 hens and will they fight to much? My friends have 3 roosters that get along fine, but I guess I’m just new to roosters.

That should be fine the ratio is usually 8-10 hens per roo so it’s on the lower side but they should be all fine if they have been raised together. If it’s possible maybe get a few more hens when these guys get bigger.

It could work great or not at all. Usually even with that many there will only be one or maybe 2 that breed and the others will get what they can get when the others aren't working. The 10:1 ratio is for fertility results in hatches, and that's it
