i completely believe in this stuff specially sea monsters and creatures that are supposed to live in caves/dense forest cuz of all the recent discoverys in just the past 4-5 yrs
Sounds to me like one of those dangerous little "Peligros" to me. Not uncommon for Chupacabras to get confused with those nasty little critters.
The "Peligro"Is a vicious little critter found mostly in the Southwestern US and Texas. They can attack a human, dog, cat, chicken... they are like a cross between a wolverine, weasel and miniature Mexican wolf all wrapped into one terrorist little animal.
I'm certain most of you have never heard of them but those of us in the southwest, southern California and Texas have. In fact, if you drive many roads out in the rural desert areas out here you will see signs all over in big red letters that say "Danger - Peligro".
Yup... vicious little critters that can eat right through that hardware cloth, and tear the head off of a roo...

I agree with you about the Peligros could be the culprit.
Also the El Chupacabra myth about one found. Yes they did find an odd looking dog body, thats all. I watch a show where they took DNA tests on it and it came back 100 percent canine.
I have lived in El Paso for awhile, that place is weird without having to have a mythical creature crawling around the outskirts.
Maybe the Chupacabra could watch the sun go down over the mountains with his Alien pals.
My Aunt who still lives there swears she saw alien space craft flighing over the mountains. My sister and I asked her was she taking funny drugs that night and she replied she only have 3 bottles of wine.

Is there another name for them? I'm trying to google it and I'm not coming up with anything. I live in Texas, but the wrong part, and I've never heard of it.
Now the Peligro. Not sure if that its correct name. Peligro might be slang for it? But I have heard of a weird carnivore that lives around that area. My grandmother told me about it when her baby ducks got eaten by it when I was about 16. She showed me a picture, but I just can't remember what she called it. I think it was something a little different.
When I was over there last time an old friend told me that she hit one with her car. I just can't remember its exact name.
That's one hideous coyote. I suppose it had some sort of hairless mutation. Most animals don't look all that great without hair/feathers. Heck, I've often wished people sported lustrous fur instead of naked skin. We'd certainly be cuter, and it would save a bundle on clothes shopping.
