Your incubator/hatcher? I have used Brinseas incubator disinfectant for awhile now...but just finished my first bottle and realized how kind of a waste it was to spend 18 dollars on this little bottle. Can someone reccomend something else?
    Thanks!

I use bleach & hot water. Soak the mesh if you have one, and need to- the gunk comes off easier.

I just clean with soap and water and disinfect with a mild bleach solution, Sam. 1 oz per gallon of water is sufficient.

I most generally use a Clorox/hot water mixture then leave the washed parts out in the sun to dry. This last time I also sprayed the bottom half of my bator with Oxine.

I'm a huge believer in Oxine; I bought a gallon about a year ago, use it all the time (it's very concentrated), and still have probably 7/8 of it left! It's an excellent disinfectant.

I use the bleach solution above in a spray bottle. I spray the incubator, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then rinse it with hot water and let dry out in the sun.

Oxine is awesome and has so many uses it's unbelievable. I have bought mine from Revival Animal Health and here's an article about Oxine that will help you learn more about Oxine. [IMG]
