Your incubator/hatcher? I have used Brinseas incubator disinfectant for awhile now...but just finished my first bottle and realized how kind of a waste it was to spend 18 dollars on this little bottle. Can someone reccomend something else?
Thanks!

I just clean with soap and water and disinfect with a mild bleach solution, Sam. 1 oz per gallon of water is sufficient.

I most generally use a Clorox/hot water mixture then leave the washed parts out in the sun to dry. This last time I also sprayed the bottom half of my bator with Oxine.

I'm a huge believer in Oxine; I bought a gallon about a year ago, use it all the time (it's very concentrated), and still have probably 7/8 of it left! It's an excellent disinfectant.

I use the bleach solution above in a spray bottle. I spray the incubator, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then rinse it with hot water and let dry out in the sun.

What is Oxine and where can I get it?

Oxine is awesome and has so many uses it's unbelievable. I have bought mine from Revival Animal Health and here's an article about Oxine that will help you learn more about Oxine.
