What do YOU call tiny river lobsters?

Growing up, I was always told that " crayfish" was correct. I don't know if that is true or not. I have heard more folks say crawdad, and that rolls off my tongue easier, so that's what I say.

No. It just sounds stupid. We would beat up the poor kids that talked like that in school. You know, the poor yankee kids whose dad got transferred for work kinda stuff.

What is your problem with the people North of the Mason-Dixon?

Why in the world would you be in a creek or worse, ditch, barefoot to get pinched by tastys?
