What do you call treats?

I think all that you have mentioned is great, I am in your exact same postion w/ 70 chickens all from 8-20 wks old, I also agree and follow what some others have said, that is I only give it once in a while as a treat, and do feed them the same things that you mentioned, but not often as to put them off their feed and protien, as we also have a garden and find the chicken coop a great place to dispose of the extra veggies, it sure is great fun to dump a bucketfull of veggies in the run and watch some chicken TV w/ my wife and daughter, now that is real Quality family fun. Imagine this for all us us DAD's who get a chance to see their teenage girls out of their rooms not on Ipods and having big fun LOL LOL.

I'm getting 3-5 eggs a day Mahonri. I hd some trouble with soft shells a couple weeks ago so I added a seperate feeder for oyster shell and that seems to have helped. I agree with al6517, chicken TV is the best and I look forward to it everyday!
