Granny's gone and done it again

I can't resist.

He can put five arrows in the bull''s eye or the ring around it at 20 yards (60 feet). You may notice he is not eyeballing down the arrow. He's using a mechanical sight instead. He fiddles with this crossbow a lot, refining it. I believe he hopes to bag a deer but maybe not this year. He needs to extend his range.

@Cynthia12, of course, he's added to my prayer list as is your whole family. Not knowing is the worse and today's medicine is only so so accurate when it comes to diagnosing things. If the doctor or the hospital where he had the MRIs done has a patient portal, I urge him to set up an account so he can look at his test results direct. There will be a lot of medical mumbo jumbo but I always spend a lot of time looking everything up so I have a clear picture of what the doctors are talking about.

Prayers that nothing major is found.

@grannyhatchet, get one of those small 'bear hug' honey holders that hold about 10 ounces of honey that you can squeeze out as you need it. They are inexpensive and you aren't left with a lot of wasted honey.
That's the kind I normally get and it seems to turn within a week!
Turns? Honey never goes bad.
no, not bad. Turns to sugar fast and that's a PITA
I don’t understand. It is slimy? My LMNT packets are not slimy at all
salt feels slimy IMO
Young sir?

Crystallized honey. Set container in microwave and nuke for about 30 seconds. Check it, give it a shake, continue to nuke it for 30 sec until the crystals disappear. You can also set it in warm water for the same results but I'm too impatient.
I've tried it both ways

I've found crystallized honey in the grocery stores around here. Hard to keep it liquid no matter what you do. I use honey up fast enough that the little Bear Hugs are usually history before they can solidify. Makes me wonder about the quality of the honey.

I've melted it in a pan of hot water but if there is ONE crystal left in the jar lid it will crystallize again very quickly. And even if you do completely melt it, around here it will still turn to sugar in a matter of days in those little bears. But they keep for weeks in the smoith jars you keep upside down. No humid air gets in.
