What do you consider "free range?"

I consider mine free ranged. I let them out in the morning to eat what ever they like my 5 acers.And put they put themselves up at night.

I don't even put them up or let them out....we have an open door policy here on Sweetwater Farm. The pop door is always open!

I've never raised chickens before..........this is my first batch. But I'll have to put the girls up at night. (might even have to sit on the porch with a shotgun like a daddy and his daughters!)

There's a very long list of things around my place that would be tickled to death to have them for a late night snack!
