What do YOU do about buyer backout??

Since you posted your question yesterday on the 22nd, that means the eggs had been sitting for four days beyond the sell date, is this correct?

My thoughts- I wouldn't ship those particular eggs. They could be in transit up to three days (even local shipments have their hiccups in delivery) and that means the eggs would be 7+ days old by the time they hit the bator or nest box. That would really harm viability.

Just something to consider.

Yes, I knew there was no way they could be sold at this point and I could not bring myself to eat them after being on the counter for that long either.

LOL I read this three times thinking what does her dear sister in law being out have anything to do with not being able to send eggs...... I finally got it now, I guess when your slow your slow.

to OP I agree with the others.

What do I do?? I email them again & again, if still no response I set the eggs myself, then hunt them down & kick their butts! Then I leave them very bad feedback as non-paying bidders or scammers. But that's just me. Non-paying bidders make me lose my mind. Buy the time I find it again, the buyer is in a bad way. Hee Hee

It is not very nice of them to leave you hanging. I know sometimes things come up, it has very recently happened to me, but I sure let the seller know as soon as I knew so they could relist the eggs if the wanted to! They were very nice about it, though probably just as disappointed as I was. Hated to do it, especially since they were so nice and giving me such a good deal. Sometimes, life just gets in the way. But, like I said, it is just plain rude not to let them know (unless your dear sister-in-law is out
