What do you do for a living?

I'm a hydrogeologist (a geologist who specializes in water...groundwater in my case). Currently I am working part-time for a local environmental firm, so that I can finish up my Master's degree. Next spring when I am done with my degree, I switch to full-time at the same company. Luckily they want me to have my MS degree, so they've been very patiently waiting.

At work, we specialize in contaminated groundwater.

DH is a Project Manager for a civil engineering firm, but he doesn't like it anymore. Plus, he has been going back and forth between working and being laid off, as it is a very unstable field right now. Furthermore, his job requires a degree nowadays, which he doesn't have which makes it harder to find work. Since I will be back to work FT in spring, he wants to go back to school for plant science or something Ag. related probably.

I work in sales at a small market radio group as my primary job, but it usually turns into much more than that. In the evenings, I chase after my 2 children and all the animals!

My husband and I run a farm equipment repair business as well as running our own small farm. My office is at home so I get to run out and see my chickens whenever I want, as long as the work gets done! There's just this little issue of hanging out here, on BYC, when I should be working!

I work 5 computers at one time with 2 keyboards and three mice. I also answer phones and a upto 5 radio channels at a time... 911 dispatcher.
DH is a very tallented welder who relaxes by training and raising his horses. Its amazing what he can do with out even saying a word...if only I could understand too.
