What do you do for a living?

I am a meteorologist who free-lances as the "weather-lady" part-time for the CBS affiliate in Spokane, WA. I also write weekly columns about weather for the local newspaper and help produce the weather page for another local paper. Fortunately, none of those jobs are full-time, so I spend most of my time as wife, and mommy to three kids ages 10, 8, and 4 and three adorable EEs who are my new babies! I wish I could somehow better use my media connections to see that every family got chickens--but unfortunately mine are not legal, so I have to try to keep it somewhat quiet!

I work for Medtronic Inc in the Physiological Research Laboratory. Histology Technician. We do pre-clinical studies for Medtronic devices. I take tissue from the animals used in the studies and make glass slides from them for Vet pathologists to examine under the microscope. LOVE it. But my boss is psycho, so that sucks.

Started in new home construction in the summer of '62 and learned all phases of carpentry and every thing related, from engineers lot hub to C.O. Broken wing put me out of full time work at 57. Now I just help out niegbors and friends as best I can.

Construction, and to the teacher above, I have been a plumber, right now be happy you aren't in construction, it doesn't pay very well at the moment. I am 31, and right now I make less than I did when I was 16! Right now be happy if you have a job.
