I was one years ago, out in the country. Needless to say, we were always getting the big, heavy, severely matted flea infested farm dogs for their "once a year" grooming. I developed carpal tunnel as a result too.

Most recently, I was a vet tech for 12+ years, recently laid off due to lack of work (small clinic and one of the doctors took off on her own) Probably a good thing, I have bilateral hip displaysia, so the physical part of the job was getting a little hard at times. I definitely miss working with the animals and their owners. Right now I am a stay at home mom with two young daughters. I am currently trying to get on with the school district as a part time substitue aid. I volunteer at the girls' school and love it. With this job, I will also have the same schedule as my kids do. Money is tight right now, and it cost some moola to get all the fingerprinting and processing done, so that process is on hold.

Drive the better half up a wall (and you can ask her, she'll tell you what a "wonderful job" I do.) .......... I have a small wood shop to keep me out of trouble.
 
Current job: consumer microbiology ( made up name for yogurt factory worker)

Dream job: I wanna be a paramedic when I grow up! I am currently a vollenteer EMT, and I love it.

Best job: groom for a racehorse breeding farm. My "co-workers" were great!

Worst job: doggie daycare attendant. It was so degrading, I once cried at work.
