What Do YOU Do for(your guy) on Valentine's Day?

Besides the hanky-panky stuff, I'll prolly cook a nice venison roast or some steaks. We may go squirrel hunting or go shoot our bows at the archery shop. ..or work on the boat. (but it's probably going to be too cold for that)

I'd kind of like to build a shelf thingy to start plant seedlings but if I start messing with the power tools, he's likely to take over and I'm not sure he'll be thrilled about doing that on Sunday.

I usually get him a card and tell him I Love Him! He is totally happy with that. After 24 years of being apart, we are just happy being together for another Valentines Day. Oh and he will be helping me work in the barn all day

I must give the wife alot of credit, she really put alot of effort and thought into this years V-day present. I used to have rabbits when I was in high school but had to give them up when I went to college. Anyway I always wanted to get silver fox rabbits, but I could never find a breeder that was not over a days drive away. Anyway she located a breeder in Maryland and was going to get me some.
The bad news is that although I desperately want them, I can't get them now, I just have too much to do and can't take care of anymore animals. After taking care of the chickens, ducks, swans, peafowl and pheasants, and all the animals inside I need to make dinner, clean up, work on the duck pens, do laundry along with other matters. After her mother died most of the housework fell upon me and it is too much to add rabbits to the mix. I really wish I could and feel bad her putting all the work into finding them, but its not possible.

Isn't it fun to feel the first spring breeze rippling through all that leg hair? Me and the cat stand next to each other and see who's fur moves the most. If I win, I go shave. If she wins, she runs as far from me as she can get...


We'll swap cards. If this isn't a 'funny' year then I screwed up LOL. I got him some Jelly Belly jelly beans, since chocolate doesn't like him. He got me Godiva, since me and chocolate are best buds.

My biggest gift to him this year will be leaving the computer off and not talking to my virtual friends or tending my virtual farms for the evening. We'll see if he notices...

Been married going on 7 years now to my One True Love. Been brainstorming on what to do this year too... I know he'd like an iPhone, but I hate the thought of spending that much money on something he'd very likely lose within a week!

Still thinking.....

One year I made him Outback's shrimp on the barbie (found the recipe online), remoulade sauce and all. One year I made him a scrapbook page that had a pocket full of like 25 little tags listing all the things I love about him. I think I liked that more than he did, although he did like it, but he is--after all--A GUY. Maybe I'll just make him a steak this year. We don't eat red meat very often, so that would probably work out just fine. Maybe I'll cut it into a heart shape!
