What Do YOU Do for(your guy) on Valentine's Day?

My man caught me a flying squirrel in a trash can, I don't know how I'm going to top that for Valentine's day...

Actually. Yes I do. Go over to Sufficientself and search for the BACON EXPLOSION!

That's what I'm going to do!

Light a few candles and wear something ala Victoria Secret for his present!
Perhaps an indoor picnic--a tablecloth on the the living room floor, a few glasses of wine and a basket of finger foods (or fried chicken) will do.
Put lots of those children's Valentines cards all over his bathroom mirror, the front door or his car windsheild. My hubby did this to the glass on my front door and side entry for our first Valentine's when we were dating--I came home from work and they were all over. Balloons and flowers were on my front deck too--so sweet

I still have all of the cards and that was 18 years ago.

the only thing I normally do is fix him his favorite meal but most of the time he will take me out to dinner he buys me a real mushy card that makes me cry, or one that makes me laugh till i have to go wee. a couple of years ago he bought me a singing and dancing monkey that sings WILD THING!! He loves me what else can i say. He knows Im the best thing that has ever happened to him, and trust me he gets his present too . This year we have a wedding to go to saturday and weddings makes him real lovey dovey sooooo.

luckily, neither of us celebrate what we've determined to be hallmark holidays.....so he's off the hook (and so am I). My expression of love was picking him up at the airport lastnight at midnight, getting home at 1:30, and getting back up at 4:30 this morning for work.. if that ain't love I don't know what is!

LOL!

I'd bought the "Missus" a box of chocolates, only to come home and found out she bought me a box of chocolates also----except the ones she bought were way more expensive then the one I bought. Now, I'm in the doghouse for Valentines day.

just keep in mind that the body stores "bullets" for about 30 shots or so afterwards....... Not to be too indelicate. Besides, I don't think I could ever do that... so my hats off to a hubby who would. :shudder and :shivers

Yep, thats what I hear!

I was thinking of getting a tandem bike- He always pauses to look at them in the bike shop, but then... Where would we put it? Would riding the same bike cause problems? It would be hard to transport if we wanted to do a ride somewhere else.

I also thought about getting him a horseback riding trip- like we had on our honeymoon, but the weather looks to be nasty.

I was going to get him a chocolate fish that says "You're a keeper" (it was panned on here by a woman who got it for Christmas), but the chocolate was poor quality (Palmer brand stuff tastes like wax).

I will probably get him a piece of junk that he will love. We are going to a hamfest the day before. I will keep an eye out for what interests him. I will try to talk him out of something that he wants then secretly get it for him. We'll see how that works. (Hamfest is a place where husbands by old radio an other electronic junk).

Hubby and I exchange cards and that's about it. His step MIL offered to watch the kids Sunday afternoon so we will probably use our Bonefish Grill gift cards that have been hanging around forever. We are really not big on the whole VD holiday....

Oh! We made that last year for Christmas I think!!!! Talk about yummy!
And no, we are not afraid of animal fats, so we ate up!
We make our own sauce, and we cooked the rolls in our smoker.
Here are pics of ours.
