Welcome to BYC!

We have lots of threads in our archives on treating bumblefoot. Here is a page full of links you can read thru...

It never hurts to do feet inspection a couple times a month so you can catch these things early enough. If you do come across a bird with bumblefoot, you will need to do surgery on the pad to get the pus ball out of the foot. It is not that hard, but the most important thing is to keep the foot well wrapped for about a month after the surgery to keep all crud and dirt out of the wound. They can heal incredibly well if given the proper chance.

Enjoy all your poultry adventures and welcome to our flock!

Welcome to the site. TwoCrows has already given you a link to read through. Best of luck with your birds.
