What do you do when you are bored?

Just stopped pouring rain here at the coast!

I'm thinking on the BHoD thing, sorry I haven't gotten back to you. The roo is only now starting to do his job!

As far as boredom? I guess I should bake some bread or something.

It's always raining here

If I'm bored, I'm online at BYC. Otherwise I've got things to do, like take care of the farm, the garden, paint some illustrations, write down notes on the farm/livestock, cook meals for myself or others, etc. Always something to do.

You can get work finishing your brooder you mentioned on your byc page. I got snowed in last weekend and built a brooder in my garage. Kept me entertained and outa the house.

I really need to do that! I don't have materials though.

I have not been able to stop thinking about them! I think insted of a breedign coop, I will just expand the coop and make a seperate 4x6 section with a 4x10 run!


My boredem is leaving now, because i'm thinking about everything I have to do now!

If i am bored on BYC I look up any of the longer picture threads. Like the Random photos one.

If i am not on the computer bored silly, I clean or knit, or veg out in front of the tv, work on lesson plans for the next week. Lately I have been applying for jobs online too. makes me feel like i have accomplished somehting

Boredom=nothing to do. I always have tons to do because I have a tendency to get bored with something, so I can work on the next project for awhile, then move on to the next one. It drives people around me crazy because it creates the illusion of me never finishing anything. Ahem! Yes I do. When I am really bored, after work, after caring for animals, after supper, shower, laundry, dishes, watching DH sleep through TV after his hard day at work, that's easy---I come here.

This morning I have no excuse-it is simply lack of motivation. So now I must close this computer, get dressed, get motivated, and go trim around windows with sheetrock, finish stomping the ceiling, texture the window trim, paint what I stomped/textured last Saturday, drive 4 miles to go feed horses, slogging through black clay gumbo mud and leftover frozen tundra from our brush with winter, come home, feed chickens/dogs, fix supper, shower, laundry, dishes, watch DH sleep through TV after his hard day at work and I'll meet ya'll back here!!

In fact, there really is no such thing as boredom. There is "procrastination" and there is "lack of imagination".

But, there is no such thing as "boredom".

I'm retired? Busy with drawing diagrams of my garden expansion, checking BYC, lots of gardening shows on today. It was snowing pretty hard so I'm staying in, have two new seed catalogs, mending to do on my granddaughter doll clothes. Making a fresh pot of tea to enjoy while my hubby and I have a little target practicing on the Wii. There is a big pot of chicken stew on the stove.

Glad I am not the only one! I am thinking about a coop exspansion! It would be 6x6! A 6x3 breeding pen and a 6x3 storage space? Does that sound good for a Trio of BHoD? Oh, and I am trying to look for little 'crafts' to do when its raining and theres nothing to do. Any ideas?
