What do you do with 12 inches of snow? **PICS**

That looks so fun. I've only gotten to go sledding like that once. I got to the top of the hill, it was quite steep like that one, BUT instead of a creek it was a 90 degree left turn.......

....... my grandma and grandpa lived down the road, I rode that sleigh like 1/2 a mile. It was totally cool. I did make it around that corner, but barely...........

I hope your fingers and toes didn't get too cold

we have one of those hills at grams, roll off before the creek. But ours is about a 5 foot drop into the creek. My cousin passed several years ago but one of our best memories was when he took my sister when she was small and couldnt stop. There they sat, teetering on the edge, my sister in the back and my cousin yelling "Dont get off!"

Thanks for reminding me.

Reminds me of those Calvin and Hobbes comics.

When I was a kid my brothers and I used to slide down our road during snowstorms before the plows came around. You read that right...up north they don't plow the secondery roads until the snow stops.

We had plenty of hills to slide on, but the runner sleds don't work real well in deep snow so we would dump water on the road and slide down the road. We got in trouble so many times by the road commissioner for icing up the road, but that never stopped us from doing it. Our road never had much traffic anyway and unless you had a 4x4 (or a snowmobile) you did not come up it when it was snowing. We lived half way to the top and it climbed over 400 ft in half a mile.
