Around here, I know people raise pheasant and quail for hunters, but don't know of anyone raising partridge. I love the taste of pheasant and quail. My dad doesn't hunt anymore and my husband never did. I miss having quail and pheasant! I imagine I would like the partridge, too. I never noticed a gamey taste. It is dark meat.
