What do you do with an anti social chicken?

I got her about 2 months ago. Now she's about 5 months old. She's the lowest of the pecking order but I free range them, they don't peck or fight. When I started to free range, she didn't go out with the flock or just went out 5 minutes maximum for a walk then straight back into the coop. Now she starts to go out more often but never joins the flock, sometimes she just screams and flaps/flies around as if something is chasing or scaring her. How can I make her more social?
Thanks

Could just be her personality. How big of a flock?

sometimes when there is a bully harassing one hen, some posters have indicated success if they separate out the bullied one along with 1-2 of the friendliest ones. Then friends are made among the pair/trio. However, this can cause problems too with regards to reintroduction

We’ve had an introverted hen before. Not lowest in pecking order, but kept mostly to herself.

So you added a single bird to a flock and wonder why she's not 'communing' with the others? Sounds perfectly normal to me.
How old are the other birds?
She may work her way 'up the ladder' once she starts laying.
