What do you do with soft eggs?

If a chicken lays a soft egg, can you eat it?

I don't. Compost them. Don't really have a solid reason why, they just kinda creep me out to eat.

Eat them. They're perfectly fine except for a lack of enough calcium to form a complete shell.
