What do you do with them?

I keep reading all these posts about people hatching tons of eggs. I'm just curious what you do with all the chicks you get? Do you keep them, sell them, or what?

I keep some of them and sell the others at a local poultry auction.

At the rate I have been hatching (1 chick per breed

) I just keep most of the ones I hatch. Now if I can figure out what the problem is, I'll be selling some

Keep the best of the hatches, sell at local sale, and eat some.

Keep the best, sell the spares, eat some. What you don't keep - keeps paying for the habit.

I hatch the eggs then give the chicks away to people , I just want to feed my addiction and I cant have acutall adult chickens so I give them away as soon as I run out of people to take them then I cant hatch anymore

it is called hoarding...it is a problem but we live with it

I don't hatch as many as some people I see... and I can tell you WOW those are a lot of chicks!

I so far have sold mine, but I only get a couple here and there. If I see one I really want I'll keep it. My next hatch is ALL mine and I'm sooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!
