What do you get from BYC?

The good info and support more than compensate for the posts that are not what I would really like to see. So, I guess....looking at the amount of time I spend on this site......must like it.....

of course the chickeny stuff-I have only one city friend and my family is city dependant so this is the ONLY place to get varying opinions on things and I am able to weigh them and decide whats true(?) BYC has encouraged me to expand my initial flock of chickens(and we recently passed them on to chicken heaven) that were aquired for eggs and am now expecting meat babies and more layers. am currently eating huge pot of wonderful chicken/veggie soup which I had not had for several years because I don't patronize commercial food animal people. thank you BYC. you're an inspiration.

I get to use this smilie whenever I want to on BYC. Heck half the time im giving out information I start with " Well I asked around on BYC and... " This site is wonderful andis like a careing family to me with my ducks. I love my birds and without the friendly nature and informative minds on this site I doubt id know what I do today to take care of my animals.
