What do you get when you cross a Barred rock rooster and….

This year my barred rock is my only rooster and I’m wondering what I’ll get from my hens. I’ve set 30 eggs as I’m not sure my rooster is quite up to be the “man” with 11 hens now. My other rooster got killed by a dog and the barred rock has had to take up the slack.
my hens are RR’s
easter eggers
and crosses of the two. Will he throw bars or not?

Yes, if he's purebred Barred Rock, all chicks will be Barred.

Cool. So is there any way to sex the chicks? I know if the mother is barred rock all the sons will be barred. I think. He is a barred rock from Atwood’s farm store. So he should be purebred.

You should be able to sex them by comb/wattle development, at about 4-6 weeks. There won't be any sex linking.

Crossing a barred rock rooster with a Rhode Island red hen won’t produce a black star. A black star is a BR hen x RIR rooster.
