What do you get when you cross a silkie roo with a bantam cochin? Pics

A black silkie roo got together with a Silver Penciled Cochin bantam hen and the result was a hit at the 4-H Fair!!

The judge said he never places a mix breed that high.

They are gorgeous!

The birds were hatched by a friend of mine and shown by her son.

All I did was give them the eggs, but that won't stop me from basking in the reflected glory!!

Yeah, and I know where to look!

I think these two girls are going in with my blue cochin roo next spring . . . wonder what we'll get!

If anyone gets a repeat formation from a similar cross, I'd love to know.
