So what color eggs will you get from the offspring of a male americauna and a brown egg layer female?

Is the male a purebred Ameraucana? If so, you'll probably get a greenish/olive egg. If he's a hatchery style "Ameraucana", he's really an Easter Egger, which is a crossbreed, and may or may not be carrying the genes for blue eggs. In that case...who knows?

Thanks. I don't have a male ameraucana that I am aware of yet. My chicks are only 2 weeks old. I ordered 9 pullet chicks from various brown egg laying breeds and 1 ameraucana pullet. I was sent 22 chicks. Gotta love packing peanuts! We are going to put the other 12 in the freezer once they size up. I am just trying to get a game plan for further down the road.
