My chicks came today. I want to give them a treat (probably not today, unless people say it's okay). I just don't know what to give them...
Thanks in advance.

Watermellon, Pizza Crust (my rooster stole my brother's pizza outa his hand when he wasn't lookin' at his bday party

), any other type of melon, bread, eggs, fish, stale cereal, crackers, leftover fish bait, rice, any type of noodle, tomatoes, pumpkins, leftover hamburger helper, and sometimes I buy mealworms at the petshop and mix them in with their feed.

Sounds like my cat. He will eat any french fries that go unwatched for two seconds. Had another one eat my cereal. Cats.

If I want to give the babies a little eggs, how should I prepare them?

Scrambled or Raw is fine.

I give my young chicks some rolled oats either cooked or raw. Whenever I give them anything besides their crumbles, I also have a dish of free choice Chick Grit available to them. If you have a TSC they usually carry it.

Oh and when you give them egg they like the shell as well, just make sure they don't choke on it. Oh and baked beans, beansprouts, the cob after your done with the corn, cottage cheese, mine LOVE bell peppers (the seeds inside!).

Mine love just about anything. I have been giving them cherry tomatoes and figs lately bc we have so many of them. The guinea keets love the greens from the carrots. My boys can hand feed even our big rooster the figs...
