What do you guys do with all your garden products?

Aw that's so sweet! Makes me wish we had things like that around here...but glad we don't NEED things like that around here at the same time!

I'd like to make the obvious suggestion here:

I would suggest you actually eat it.

Yep, get your daily vegetable intake by consuming the stuff. There are surprising, interesting and delicious ways to prepare and serve the produce from your garden. Investigate them.

That food which you cannot eat yourself, can be frozen or preserved in other ways for later use. Any further surplus can be given to friends, neighbors, co-workers, homeless shelters, church and charity kitchens, homes for senior citizens and so on.

This way your labor, time and resources will not have been squandered, but instead put to their highest purpose, ie, The work of human hand, fostering human life.

I end up feeding quite a lot of the "garden waste" to my chickens. They LOVE it. You can also hang excess herbs in the coop to "Freshen" the smell. Sometimes I will hang herbs in the garage to dry, just to annoy my husband. He'll come in and say, "Why does my man cave smell like ladies' soap?" (lavendar) or "Were you eating 12 gallons of pico de gallo out in the garage?" (cilantro)
