what do you guys use for shipping?

Im new to the shipping world. I've seen a few pictures of examples, but want everyones opinion.

1. What is the most commonly used usps box that you use??


2. AND what the best way to wrap your eggs?

I recently shipped eggs and I will find out today or tomorrow how they arrive. I wrapped each one with a tissue, then bubble wrap. Then I lined them up on a sheet of the really big bubbles bubble wrap and rolled it up in a tube. I sent them in a priority mail tube. I will find out how they faired.

Me either!!! But I had to go with what was available. I was only shipping 9 eggs too. The recipient thought that was strange too.

When you get my eggs you'll see how I do it, I copied pasofinofarm and it works most of the time, you can't account for the PO.
I've only had 2 boxes not make it.

12x12x8 Standard Priority Box or 7x7x6 for smaller orders.


2. AND what the best way to wrap your eggs?
We wrap each egg individually in bubble wrap (you can get a HUGE roll of it from Lowes) then wrap a group of eggs together in another layer of bubble wrap. Then they are packed in the box with crumpled paper as a filler. You want to make sure to use enough paper so that the eggs do not wiggle around. Tape up the box, put the shipping label on it, and label the box as Fragile, Eggs for Hatching, Live Embryos, Do Not X-Ray. It works for us.

I always use 12x12x8 no matter what, and each egg is bubble wrapped, then a nest in the box made with plastic bags, then a lg sheet of bubble wrap in the nest hole, eggs in hole corners tucked on top, check the padding around the sides, stuff if necessary, and a piece of bubble on top
