It's the old standby for us each Sunday.

Roast Beef
Mashed Potatoes
Carrots
Peas
Dinner rolls w/ butter

Takes me about 10 minutes to prepare in the AM and then again after its cooked in the afternoon.

It's usually fish, rice and veggies. THAT is what is quick to make in my kitchen.
But roast does sound good!

My DH is cooking sundays. Most of the time it means a pasta dinner and on occasions eggplant or chicken parmesan. But he leaves the dirty dishes for me. Aint he a darling? not

We had roast last night...I think we will have nachos tonight.

Brown 2 pounds of ground beef with an onion...drain the fat.

Add one packet of taco seasoning and the water stated on the packet, cook down till almost dry.

Heat 2 cans of refried beans.

Spread some tortilla chips out on a plate...top with hot refried bean, hot seasoned ground beef, grated cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and dot with dollops of sour cream. Serve with guacamole on the side with a few extra chips.

One of my favorite meals!!!

We're having what's called Bower's stew

1 med. onion chopped
1 can pinto beans
1 can northern
1 can pork and beans
1 c. ketchup

cook hamburger and bacon then throw in crockpot and cook on low 6-8 hrs.
