Excellent post, BeckyLa, I loved it!
Every time I go outside, I have to do my little change-my-shoes-dance at the door. That's why I have 2 pairs of clogs.

Nothing attracts chicken poop like a freshly-washed deck and steps. The chickens have claimed ownership of the deck steps. It looks like a 4-fingered alien has been playing with brown finger paint. During moulting, those steps are tarred and feathered!

I was born in the year of the rooster too. I love to sit out on my deck and watch the world go by.

I,... like my chicks...get flighty sometimes and fly the coop!
I sometimes get on my perch and cackle at those below me!
I like scratching in the dirt for treasures.
I sometimes get my feathers ruffled.
I'm not fond of a" rooster"/"man" on a mission!

I am not sure I can pinpoint exactly how my chickens and I are alike except for the fact the we all just love baby chicks.

How am I like my chickens? Lets see. I too like corn, cackle when I'm out with my girlfriends, love to dig in the dirt, seek shade on a hot day, put my chicks first, eat everything put in front of me, don't like uninvited guests coming in my coop, and give in to my roo. I must ask CarriBrown how to make a Midori Sour. It sounds like something I would like very much.

Love to scratch in the dirt
Intrigued by anything green!
LOVE to get out of the house and stretch my wings atleast once a day!
If there's trouble I find it.
If there's mud I manage to step in it.
Love to sit up high and watch everything.
Enjoy the company of others.
Think that although my family is not all the same color ect. they are still just like me.
VERY proud of my kids.
Roll eyes when the hubby has to beat on his chest and proclaim I am man hear me roar! LOL!
