edited to add:
My fancy is caught by silver-laced Wyandottes (again! Just love silver laced birds).
Or large fowl silver-laced Cochins or eggs from any great black and white patterned / marked bird.

I'm doing more Light Brahmas and Blue/Black/Spash Orps... have some RIRs,Buff Orps and Buff Brahma eggs coming that I hope to hatch....

I have lots of hopes for this year. Let's see..

- I have 10 new BO pullets and a new rooster which were added to our breeding this year, so we are all set there.

- I also hope for a beautiful new Buff Silkie cockerel and some ladies. I have four with super potential growing out and can't wait to figure out what gender they are.

Fingers crossed for a gorgeous baby boy.

- Planning for a new large fowl Ameraucana cockerel and some new hens to go with him.

- Hoping for lots of Lester's first generation offspring with his black orp girls to start our lavender orpington breeding program. I figure another week and we'll be able to start setting some eggs to see how progress is coming along.

Well, I'm currently incubating 3 Light Brahma eggs from my own flock as well as 3 Golden Laced Cochin eggs from my own flock.

I'm heading to the post office in about an hour to pick up my other Golden Laced Cochin eggs that just came from Oregon--so those will rest overnight & go into the 'bator in the morning.

In addition, I'm expecting my Sebastopol eggs today or tomorrow!

So I'm hoping they ALL hatch.

Oh & I've got a broody Muscovy right now who's been on her nest for almost TWO WEEKS...only another two weeks & a few days to go! LOL

I have one white silkie chick 4 weeks old, and I am in the process of incubating six more silkies and six lavender pekins .
