Wow! You made that? Beautiful work! I can't show my daughter, she's going to start asking me for custom saddle pads. Lol

I did! I saw the fabric and loved the color. I'm hoping to make a blaze orange one also.Wow! You made that? Beautiful work! I can't show my daughter, she's going to start asking me for custom saddle pads. Lol
Wow! That is a lot of cool stuff? Do you go to shows?I do way too many things. Haha!
I come from a crafty family and I’m always looking to try new things. I sew, knit, crochet, Bead, wire wrap, carve rock, paint rocks, and other random crafts.
My most recent crafts, wire pet name ornaments.

When I get time I’d like to try opening an Etsy shop. I’ve just been too busy since school started. Normally the cold months are when I have free time, but I’m not sure I will this year.

how do you assemble your toys? I have the biggest problem with that part.
Thanks!Wow! That is a lot of cool stuff? Do you go to shows?

No, I’ve never done any shows before. I haven’t even been to any to see how they work.
I use a yarn needle and yarn to join the parts together. Putting them together is actually my favorite part because I feel like it’s a chance to “fix” anything I feel looks wanky. Haha.
I want to try making dolls at some point, but I have bad hands that limit how much I can do. It sucks.
Yes! I think that’s why I never stick to just one thing. Too much repetitive work kills me and I lose days to letting my hands rest. The shooting pain keeps me awake at night and that just makes things worse.I understand, I have carpal tunnel and collapsed discs in my neck that make it painful to look down for a long time and let me tell you, all arts and crafts require you to look down for at least some period of time. I just do a little at a time and jump around to different projects so I don't stay in one position too long (which doesn't hurt my feelings because I love doing all sorts of things!).

I think so. It’s what my mom has. I haven’t talked to any drs about it because I know the options they have given her over the years. I’m afraid surgery might cause permanent damage and take away what use I have right now.Is it carpal tunnel for you as well? My hands aren't perfect but surgery made a world of difference for the shooting pains that used to wake me up in the middle of the night.
