I think so. It’s what my mom has. I haven’t talked to any drs about it because I know the options they have given her over the years. I’m afraid surgery might cause permanent damage and take away what use I have right now.
And needles make me light headed so I don’t really want any shots:/
I guess I don’t know if medically treatments have changed over the past 10yrs.
It's anesthesia that I don't like, not knives and needles but I've unfortunately had so many health issues over the years that I've had many surgeries. If I can say one thing to make you feel better, the carpal tunnel surgery was among the easier surgeries to recover from.
If you want to avoid doctors all together though, I waited a very very long time before I gave in and I would do all sorts of crazy things to alleviate discomfort, lol. Anything to reduce inflammation was and still is my friend. There is a turmeric drink called golden milk that (while not tasty) seemed to really help when I drank it daily.
