What do you make? Handcrafted / Handmade / Made with Love

I think so. It’s what my mom has. I haven’t talked to any drs about it because I know the options they have given her over the years. I’m afraid surgery might cause permanent damage and take away what use I have right now.
And needles make me light headed so I don’t really want any shots:/
I guess I don’t know if medically treatments have changed over the past 10yrs.

It's anesthesia that I don't like, not knives and needles but I've unfortunately had so many health issues over the years that I've had many surgeries. If I can say one thing to make you feel better, the carpal tunnel surgery was among the easier surgeries to recover from.

If you want to avoid doctors all together though, I waited a very very long time before I gave in and I would do all sorts of crazy things to alleviate discomfort, lol. Anything to reduce inflammation was and still is my friend. There is a turmeric drink called golden milk that (while not tasty) seemed to really help when I drank it daily.

I do these:

Whaaaat?!? These are so cool! I never would have thought to make a lamp like that! And you make acrylic pour paintings and epoxy cups which are two things my OCD absolutely can't get around the mess on. I have a big collection of custom epoxy tumblers my friends have made actually! I love them but dare not make my own.

The pouring and resin is easily contained. I use 30x30 plastic litter pans from small animal cages (about 15 bucks at tractor supply) and they contain the mess handily for all but my really big painting projects. :et the drips dry, peel them out, and wipe down. easy peasy.

I had surgery for carpal tunnel about 25-30 years ago but even back then, they were making advances in using laser to repair the damage...that would mean a much faster recovery since there wouldn't be any 'cutting' involved. You might want to ask your doctor about it at some point, they might have even better methods now.

What are all of the artists and crafters up to this year?! Share your pictures in this thread!

This thread is to show off your arts and crafts pictures and chat but not to post a sales listing! Check out BYC’s Buy Sell Trade forum, bonus points if you share the link to the items you sell BYC’s BST forum with your pictures!
(Please do not post direct links to any other websites with your items for sale as it’s against BYC rules.)

I love supporting small businesses and crafters and there's no better time to do this than when fulfilling a Christmas list! I try to do this every year because I have many friends that support their families by making handcrafted items and I was thinking that there are probably many people that I chat with all the time here at BYC and I don't realize that they too offer handmade items that would make great gifts! So, I’m curious, what you make?
i make hand crated wooden items.
