I definitely don't trust myself to try this. I can't even hold on to my car keys without dropping them and somehow perfectly timing it in step to also kick them across the ground. It's a skill.

I cannot hold a piece of paper in my hand with my hand hanging down and make it across the room with the piece of paper. I will not even notice it fall out.

I bet that's because you're hard working and have calluses on your fingers. I have zero excuse. My hands are as soft as a babies bottom and I can feel it just fine as whatever thing I'm holding falls to it's demise.
The name of my crystal business is "A Stone's Throw" it wasn't just a cute name, it's because I'm constantly dropping stuff. My rock friends love the clearance bundles though.

Oh I love this! I use a camera strap with my camera 100% of the time! Are these soft or scratchy?

Kind of both if that makes sense lol. They're pretty comfy unless you're keeping it on for hours on end. On this next 1 that I do I think I'm going to possibly line the part where it might be skin contact. I make mine a little longer so that I can carry 2 and do them crossbody.
I have an idea for some cool ends that would attach to the end clips. That way I can make them interchangeable and use the same straps for my bags too. We'll see how that goes.

I am an avid Breyer collector, and I have found that the prices of the company-made accessories are crazy! So, since I love my Model horses, and want to spoil them, but without paying the crazy prices for accessories, I have decided to make my own!

Currently, I make halters!

But since I have nailed those, I needed something else to do....
So I tried my luck at some racing tack!

This tack is specially designed based on Baneí horse racing gear, (technically just a pulling harness).
Baneí is a Japanese horse race that is revolved around draft breeds, it is very similar to dog sledding, but with large horses!

Then, just recently, I tried my luck at a standard jockey/flat race saddle and pad. Japanese-themed for the Olympics. (Keep in mind, this was my first time.... )

Very nice! My daughter loves collecting Breyer horses as well and has so many now that she needed a special display shelf installed that goes all the way around her room.

(Forgot to mention, but I think I made it obvious, I am a crazy Thoroughbred girl!)
And, today, I decided I would make the most important piece in thoroughbred/horse racing events, the rose Garland!
Modeling this wonderful accessory is Hawkeye, my Irish thoroughbred colt.

My hackney filly, Houlihan, wanted in on it too, so I took her photo as well.

It is a fun hobby, but even the horses sure can be pricey. Almost like paying for a real horse...

My two favorites would be my Thoroughbred foal and my Grey shire gelding.
(But I am expecting a new thoroughbred model sometime within this month or September) But I have decided to put my collecting to a temporary end after this, I'm learning model horse limits.
