What do you say when you are mad or frustrated?

Many years ago, I had a boss who would say, "Shostakovich!" and the amount of emphasis he put on the name indicated how very irritated he was. (Shostakovich was a Russian composer, who died in 1975. Boss was very upset when Mr. S died, said he'd have to find a new swear word; felt it wasn't appropriate to swear on a dead man's name!)

I usually say "Dangit!" or "What the frick?!". My dad has a good one though. His first reaction is usually "This is not good" in a very serious, yet calm manner.

My 7 year old taught me to say "Applesauce" and "fish sticks and tarter sauce". She says its better than the words that I have said before. When I get angry at things she says are you going to say "applesauce" or "fish sticks and tarter sauce"?

I forgot about holy shnikes (or how ever you spell it) Isn't that a Chris Farley word? I had a teacher who said BULL SUGAR! and another one who said so many stupid things when he was mad he did say GOD....BLESS....AMERICA once. Not really a habit, but once there were two kids playing rock, paper, scissors in class and he told them very angrily that they should not be playing rock, paper, hammer

Since I had my kids I had to lets say 'rearrange' some letters and change some pronunciations to make them G rated. Theres nothing more embarresing than having your two year old say @hit in the middle grocery store

My favs these days are, son of a bunny, oh crap, fudge and the various forms of it, shoot, darn it, shucks, and when I do something really stupid with little ears in the room I'll say "what a dumb bunny I am" usually makes them giggle

Now, if the kids are out of ear shot, well you can only imagine...

I think I am going to adopt the son of an irish duck. That one makes me giggle!

I picked up a new one recently and it seems to be sticking: Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

Took the kids awhile to figure it out and that made it even more fun.

As a kid my mom would say "What a p*sser!" - she changed it to "How inconntenant" (sp?) which I still use
