What do you think about GM?

So what do you think about GM using bail out money to restructure and have a bunch of their cars assembled in China? I think it sucks, but I think it will be allowed to happen so that the Chinese govt will continue to loan us money. More jobs that aren't coming back. When asked about all the middle class jobs leaving the country, George Bush answered that our children needed to prepare themselves in fields that were not exportable. I paraphrased that. I think he was right. There seems to be no stopping it.

If enough people refused to buy imported products, it could be turned around. Since we Americans are spoiled, it probably won't happen though. You know, we want what we want when we want it.

Hospitals are paying to train nurses from other countries, in exchange for a 2 year commitmant to work here.

well surgeries are now being done remotely they are dont with virtual reality and docs are making diagnosis via internet..

maybe i will be movin to china soon to treat canadian patients..lol​

And bus driver, garbage collector, plumber, hair stylist, etc. Of course those fields don't employ that many people.
