How old? It isn't a purebred silkie.

Hatched April 15 and I was told a purebred

I think pullet than, and is definitely not purebred as it doesn't have silkie feathers, it has normal feathers.

could it be a frizzle silkie?

A frizzle silkie would have feathers like my avatar hen. I think maybe a partridge rock.

Does anyone have any ideas about this chicken? I'm almost one hundred percent sure it's a hen but I just wanted to make sure. It's name is Neptune and it is a Welsummer Barred rock mix.

I'm sorry you were told it was a purebred. If I'm correct, purebred silkies skin is black. Mine were with sift silkie feathers. Here are the silkies I use to have, if that helps any.
