Genetics work weird... His mother is either one of my 2 magpies and his dad was a butterscotch mix I had.. Now.. the father was sold to me as butterscotch (my very first call duck.. I new nothing about colors) but the breeder also told me that her white male kept getting in the butterscotch pen and mating with the girls... obviously .. LOL...

If I were to breed Spongebob to a PURE white female.. with hopefully no other colors close in the family tree... would I, or should I, get mostly white?? Or is it always a crap shoot when you breed, no matter the color?

No, Alicia, you would MOST LIKELY get a split, but you WILL get some White babies.
